WoW Fast Leveling Techniques

See more in Gaming

I know that it’s frustrating and boring as hell to level a new character from level 1-80 in WoW. That’s why I want to share my technique about fast leveling with you.

Some ways of leveling work very well and some ways clearly are a waste of time. But the efficiency of those different ways has changed over time. That’s why there are still many players that waste a LOT if time on leveling their character.

In case you think that grinding is the ultimate technique of fast leveling – then you are wrong! I know there’s a lot of confusion about this. Back in the old days, lots of players grinded mobs to gather experience and level up really fast. All they did all day was standing at a spot where mobs would respawn quickly and killed them again and again.

But today the game mechanics are different when it comes to gathering experience. Of course you still get all the xp for finishing off a mob. But completing quests now gives more xp than before. Blizzard has increased the xp you receive for completing a quest.

Just do the math – Complete quests and you get both xp for killing the mobs as well as for the quest itself. Grinding saves you some time because you don’t have to travel anywhere, so you get a bit more xp in the short run. But in the end you miss a lot of experience since you don’t complete any quest.

Now, can you guess how many more mobs you have to finish off to make up for the xp you don’t get for questing? For most of the classes in WoW, grinding is just not viable for fast leveling anymore!

Of course there is always one class that is better than any other class in terms of grinding. Frost Mages can kill dozens of mobs in a few seconds if they are doing it right. So, if you are not a Frost Mage, I recommend you to stick to questing.

This is the surefire way to get experience the fastest way possible: You get the xp for both mobs and quets. Doing quests is the secret of fast leveling.
