Indoor Outdoor Wireless Speakers can be a very convenient accessory for enjoying the sounds of your stereo anywhere you wander without unsightly jumbles of speaker wire tracking everywhere. This is great if you are not an expert at running and concealing wire or if you just prefer not to deal with the hassle that it can easily turn out to be. Not only are they easier to install than regular speakers but they are reasonably priced as well. Switching over to wireless indoor outdoor speakers is not just an alternative, but an upgrade.

Compared to running the wire required for standard speakers, wireless speakers are much easier to install. Especially if you are setting the speakers up at a distance or even outside. With wireless there is no running the wire under carpet, behind drywall, or any other manner of concealing it. Within 150 feet it is as easy as setting it up and enjoying.

The set up of a wireless system is extremely uncomplicated. An Indoor outdoor wireless speaker generally gets its sound information from a transmitter which is simply attached to the output of your sound source (stereo or surround sound station. Plug everything in and the set up is complete.

It would seem that a speaker system that is more attractive visually, due to a lack of wires, and more convenient, as the installation is easier, would be more expensive. This is not true though. It is true that there is a range of between $40- $300, but the same is true for standard speakers. Most of the wireless options will have a minimum range of 150 feet and all have just as simple an installation process. The price dynamic can be attributed to the same factors as in the wired version; brand name, quality, appearance etc.

There are a few things to consider when using wireless speakers. The battery life will usually only last between five to ten hours. Most will come with the option of battery power or AC power however so this is not a limitation but an option. Another thing to know is not to leave the batteries in the speakers, especially if they are used outdoor. This can lead to speaker damage by the batteries.

Switching over to indoor outdoor wireless speakers is the obvious choice to make for anyone with a stereo or surround sound system. It is more convenient, not any more expensive, and much more appealing to the eye. An indoor outdoor wireless speaker as compared to the soon-to-be obsolete alternative is an upgrade with almost exclusively benefits and no shortcomings.
