The obvious fact is that you need to make sure the headset is a wireless stereo headset. A wireless headset is different than traditional headsets in that you can roam and still maintain quality sound. There are several brands on the market that advertise to be all-in-one headsets for stereos, PCs and cell phones but I caution you about these. Find a set that plays stereo sound and not mono. Headsets that play in mono stereo are going to be those universal headsets. If you are ok with a flatter sound, then by all means choose a mono set but for better quality you will want a stereo set.. Stereo sound is far better in quality because of how it is recorded on two different channels simultaneously. They go through a multi-layering method to create a more realistic sound. This equates to a sound with more depth. For example, movies at the theater have a higher quality sound and depth versus watching it at your own home.

For these reasons the cost of the stereo headsets will be higher but you will be getting your money’s worth.
