Search Engine Optimization Training – Its Importance To Your Team
Search engine optimization training for your staff will surely take some time on your part. What would you do if after training, they decide to leave in six months or in weeks or in two weeks? That is a big question. But what is more of a big deal is, what if they do not decide to leave your SEO services and you did not train them for the tasks at all.
You’d rather have trained up people who potentially leave so that the people who stay are a hundred percent trained up exactly on your system. So many people say, oh, they can learn it themselves, but they’re not going to learn it themselves. It’s an obvious thing in business and people in their mindset think that online is different and don’t treat it the same. You’ve got to spend the time training your outsourcing providers. You have to. It’s still your business.
If someone comes and works in our office, we have the network drive. We set up something similar for the virtual assistants but this is an area that everyone can log into. We set up Google Docs and under Lists and Logins, that details all of our websites that we’re working on, login details, personal information, all that type of thing.
Systems are next. We have set up systems for the training of our staff. This will help each of them generate trainings as they do it. They will learn about Aweber when it comes to emails. Under SEO company and search engine optimization training, I give them access to The SEO Method. They will learn how to use Audacity when it comes to audio staff. I create culture or system in all parts of my business. This is important in putting a place behind you.
I refrain from creating a business that depends on people. I desire for one that depends on systems. I don’t want to have it where this one person has built a little black box about what it is that they do. If it happened that they quit their position, I will be left with nothing to refer a new staff to. Now, I have what is called WorkWiki. I post here my SEO products that can help my staff during their training period. If someone comes in and they say, Dave, I need to prepare that end of day report or I need to know how to invoice STU, I’ll say, go watch the video here. I encourage them to do things on their own, but I will review any questions they will have. Then, I will do it with them for clarification purposes. You just have to show them how to do it.
When you give your staff appropriate search engine optimization training, you save time and effort. It is a great relief that you do not have to show them how to go about each task every time they need to accomplish something. I just point them to WorkWiki where their anticipated questions have already been answered.
