The HP Color LaserJet 2600n printer is, as the name suggests, a color laser jet printer. This printer is able to be used in either the home office of a small business setting. The printer received its power supply from an Ethernet cable or a USB cable. The printer is able to fit into most small areas due to its size of only 16 W x 18D x 15H inches and the printer can be moved easily due to its low weight of only 40 pounds and the easy handgrips located on the base of the pan. When the toner and drum units needs replacing the front cover of the printer will open outwards as it is on hinges to make this changing process much easier and to not create a large mess for the person who is changing the cartridge. Handles are also on the cartridges to assist with the changing process.
The printer has good speed. Black text printing is available at 7 pages per minute and color printing at around 6 pages per minute. These printing times are a good speed for a home office, but may not be for a larger office with over six staff. This laser printer is able to print high quality crisp black text, clean letters along with grayscale graphics and good detail on photos. Color graphics may not come out as clear as the colors may mix due to the printing process.
The printer cartridges used in the 2600n have a varied lifespan depending on the jobs that are being printed. A black cartridge will last around 2,500 pages and the color cartridge will last approximately 2,000 pages.

Print quality in black and white and color is at HP ImageREt 2400, manual duplex printing is available, can print up to 35,000 pages per month, and has a maximum memory of 16 MB.
