Online Data Storage And Emergency Backup Helped Me Through My Tragedy
For some time I have been searching for a variety of Online Data Storage, I’ve kind of caught the “if it has wires, I don’t want it” bug. I know that I have options that can be less of a hassle such as flash drives, external drives, FireWire drives, and even a Compact Flash cord, but I am not sure what I should use, hence my search for a great Data Storage . I suppose the closest two are the actual drives but that requires taking things out of my pocket, or bag, or whatever. What I really need is some kind of Online Data Backup. While playing on the Internet I found a variety of Data Backup Services, and by variety I mean the lowest of the low of Data Backup Services and the highest priced Data Backup Services that were way out of my price range . It seems like some of the Internet companies that have websites out there are just trying to drive customers away with their cheesy websites and the insufficiency of information on their internet portal of industrial independence . Another thing that bothered me about some of these so-called companies was the fact that they used popular companies logos, where is the creativity people?! . I think I have two options now, I can either use Apple’s Mac service which is, in my opinion, very expensive, or I can create a domain that will store all of my information .
We called Ted ‘Mister Data Storage’ back in college. Make no mistake. We loved the guy, but he was weird, really, really weird. Mister Data Backup Services would seriously dress like a nerd, pocket protector and all, always with a white lab coat on, we’re not sure why he wore that though because he hated chemistry and science . Instead of keeping oracles and tubes in his pockets, he kept data storage devices ! CD’s, discs, computer memory cards, IBM ports, wires, sockets, and even old Playstation memory cards. None of us ever questioned him carrying them around with him, and eventually it became his staple . Still, if you ever had a problem with your computer, if Windows was crashing, if your document wasn’t saving, if you needed a CD to burn something on, Ted was always there for you. He was definitely a different guy, but looking back he was the glue that held our college together . He had a way of carrying himself at a higher standard than everyone else, but it honestly came as a shock when he died of a heart attack . It wasn’t like he ate any greasier fast food than the rest of us. He was probably the most in shape person I knew in college because he was always running around campus trying to help everyone with their computer issues . He was only 22 and it was a month after graduation where he took a shower and it hit him. I miss him to this day .
There is a friend of mine here who started up a new business after all those hurricanes down south flooded the area. It is a Emergency Backup company, which is great because he didn’t feel as bad doing it because the clients are not paying him, the insurance company was so he knew that he would be receiving the payments . Especially after Katrina my friends business was booming, everyone in town needed Disaster Recovery to fix their ruined houses due to the torrential rains and flooding that caused them to pilgrim to the north until it all finished its path of destruction . All in all I would say he is doing very well for himself .
