How Do I Install Zygor Guides?
Installing Zygor Guides.
This is a very quick and easy process, nothing to get hot and bothered about at all. Quite a few people get hung up on this but really if you can operate a mouse you can definitely do this. It should take you around 5 mins and then your off and away?. You see though we call it “installing the guide”, your not really installing anything. All you are doing is copying and pasting files into your World of Warcraft directory. It really is that simple.
So once you get your access to the members area you are given direct acces to Zygor Guides. Here you will be able to download the guide to your hardrive. When you do this, remeber to pick somewhere on your hardrive that you are sure to remeber. The desktop is a good place to choose.
With the guide now safely located in a zip file on your desktop. It’s time to find the Addons folder where they will be placed. Click on start, then navigate to C drive. Within C drive you will see a folder called program files, click it. Now scroll down until you see your World of Warcraft file. Click that, and look for the interface folder. Now within the interface folder you will find the addons folder, open this up, ready for the Zygor Guides files.

Now go back to the downloaded Zip file which contains Zygor Guides. You will now want to unzip the folders within. To do this double left click on the Zip folder, it will open and show the files contained. Now by holding down the right mouse button, drag around the files within the zip. Once you have the files selected, you will know because they will be greyed in colour. Now while the files are selected left click on them and whilst keeping the mouse button down, drag the files to an empty space in your already open addons folder, let go of the mouse button and they will be dropped here.
Thats it, close down all of the folders, you are now ready to fire up Wow. When you log in to your character you will now notice the guides window is present and ready to use. It’s a simple process and only takes about 2 mins to actually do. Just as a side note you can manipulate zygor guides within the game. The look and feel etc is fully customisable.
